    We challenge you to a scramble up Renosterkop in the Faerie Glen Nature Reserve.

    Situated in the centre of the Moreleta River system in Pretoria East, Renosterkop peaks at about 1489 m with spectacular views over the eastern suburbs of Pretoria.

    The challenge is simple. Submit your fastest time on the 3,5km trail. Caution needs to be taken when attempting to conquer the Renosterkop. Yes its short, but its tough and technical and it will break you.



    The entrance to the reserve is on January Masilela Road between Lynnwood and Glenwood Roads in Pretoria.

    Adults (13 years and older): R6.00 per person

    Open seven days per week. Monday to Sunday 6.00 am to 6.00 pm.

    Trail Markings: Signage
    Facilities: Clean toilets, picnic area and running water.
    Cell reception: Good, reception on all parts of the trail.
    Beware: Snakes, ticks, dehydration and falling.
    Best time of the year: Summer and Winter.
