Inov-8 Roclite™ 243 Outsole

The Inov-8 Roclite™ 243 has a lot of SOLE… and grip! A “sticky” compound ensures grip on all terrain – rocky, rainy, grass… The Roclite™ outsole will grip! Tread wise, Inov-8 decided to “stick” to what they know work, still using the same’ol trusted Roclite™ outsole with the same aggressive lug pattern that is synonymous with the Inov-8 brand. Looking at the Roclite™ compound, it is a rubber designed specifically for trail running, performing on HARD, LOOSE AND SOFT terrains allowing aggressive running without the fear of losing grip. What I personally found and liked while testing them, was the fact that there is no “rock plate” which added to the shoe’s natural feel. What more can I say… except for the fact that I am totally “sol(e)d” on this Inov-8 Roclitemodel, my confidence, grip and senses are solid and I am keeping it natural.

Conclusion

To conclude, keep in mind that I am a solid forefoot striker and minimalistic running comes naturally. Based on their performance with regards to water dispersion, breathability, toe protection, fit along with the innovative design of the outsole, giving you as the runner a minimalistic feel but at the same time protecting the fragile tendons and metatarsals that tend to get injured when running the more natural way, the Inov-8 Roclite™ 243 is a trail running shoe not to be messed with!
